Each chronomentometer has three rows with 9 cells in it. Reading the contents of the 9 cells, from left-to-right, forms a nine-letter string, or "nonagram". The nonagrams are just strings of letters and will not be meaningful.

The higher-valued chronomentometers are generally harder to reconstruct; keep this in mind if you can't work on all of them at the same time.
